The Infrastructure Behind Independent Distribution

Audicient gives record labels, distributors, and music companies a complete distribution platform to run under their own brand — without building the pipelines, accounting, and payout systems from scratch.

What we do

Running a distribution business means solving the same set of problems every time: getting and keeping DSP relationships, delivering metadata in a format each store accepts, reconciling royalty statements that all arrive differently, splitting revenue correctly, and paying people in currencies they can actually receive. Most companies that want to distribute music do not want to build any of that.

Audicient is that stack, offered as a platform you operate under your own name. You get a branded portal for your artists and rights holders, delivery to 46+ stores and DSPs, royalty accounting, rights management, global payouts, smartlinks, and a REST API. Your customers see your brand. We run the infrastructure underneath it.

Who it is for

Record labels that want to offer distribution to their roster. Independent distributors that need to scale without hiring an engineering team. Artist-services companies and studios that want a distribution product of their own. The common thread is a business that has the relationships and the catalog, and needs the technology to stop being the bottleneck.

How we operate

Your brand, not ours

White labeling is included free on every plan. Your logo, your colors, your domain, your legal documents. Your artists and rights holders never see Audicient's name.

No locked delivery path

Run on Audicient's distribution deals, bring your own direct DSP deals, use Merlin deals, or integrate a third-party distributor. The delivery route is your decision, not a platform restriction.

Pricing you can read

Plans start at $59/month and the tiers are published on the pricing page. No enterprise-only gate in front of core functionality, and no quote request required to find out what it costs.

One platform, not six vendors

Distribution, royalty accounting, rights management, payouts, smartlinks, analytics, support, and a REST API sit in the same system, so the data does not have to be reconciled across tools.

Memberships and standards

The parts of this business that need to be verifiable, and where to verify them.

Where this is going

The number of companies distributing music keeps growing, and the operational bar keeps rising with it — stricter DSP metadata requirements, AI-generated upload screening, streaming-fraud controls, and faster royalty reporting expectations. Those are infrastructure problems, and they get more expensive to solve alone every year.

Our work is to keep absorbing that complexity so the companies building on Audicient can spend their time on artists and catalog instead of delivery pipelines. That means continuing to invest in delivery standards, catalog safety, and the accounting and payout systems that decide whether a distribution business is actually viable.
