Audicient Rights Group joins ASCAP and the MLC

Audicient Rights Group, our publishing entity, is now registered as a publisher with ASCAP and with The MLC — the two registrations that let us represent compositions for performance and mechanical royalties in the US.

This is the groundwork for publishing administration on the Audicient platform. Our customers already handle recordings end to end with us — delivery, rights, royalty accounting, and payouts. Publishing is the other half of the picture, and until now it has meant sending clients somewhere else.

We're in conversation with publishing administration partners to bring registration, collection, and publishing royalty accounting into the same white-label platform our labels and distributors already run on. We'll share more as the offering takes shape.
