Statements no longer have to pass through USD

Everything used to be USD. Whichever way the money reached you — an Audicient distribution deal or your own DSP deals — it had to be converted to USD before it got into the platform, and user statements came out in USD at the other end with no say in it.

That meant converting twice at rates that were never the rate you were paid at. Carry-forward balances made it worse: an unpaid balance rolled into the next month, got re-valued at a new rate, and you absorbed the difference on money that was never yours.

Now statements run end to end in real currencies, in three steps.

1. Statements arrive in the currency they were paid in

No conversion before anything enters the platform.

  • On an Audicient distribution deal, we upload the statements for you, now in the source currency. Where the DSP paid in GBP, you get GBP — not a USD conversion of it.
  • On your own direct deals, import the statements in whatever currencies you were paid in.

2. You add the rate you were actually paid at

FX sits on the statement, set by you, from the payment that landed.

  • Whether Audicient or a DSP paid you, enter the rate for that payment against that statement.
  • The source figures stay untouched, so a payout always traces back to what the DSP reported.

3. Your users get statements in your currency

Set the currency your business runs on — USD, EUR, AUD, or any other — and generate from there.

  • Artists read numbers in the currency they expect.
  • Carry-forward balances stay in that currency instead of being re-valued every month, so you stop eating forex movement on balances you haven’t paid out yet.
