NetEase Cloud Music
NetEase Cloud Music in China
About NetEase Cloud Music
NetEase Cloud Music is one of the two dominant music streaming platforms in mainland China. It is distinguished less by catalogue size than by community: its per-track comment threads, user-built playlists and recommendation culture make it a genuine discovery engine, and independent and international records have broken there on the strength of user activity rather than editorial support.
It operates exclusively in mainland China, a market with its own licensing framework, content review process and metadata conventions. Delivering there is not a matter of adding one more store to a release -- the territory has its own licensing and review requirements.
Audicient handles delivery to NetEase Cloud Music including the China-specific rights declarations and metadata formatting the platform requires, so your catalogue reaches a market that is otherwise difficult for independent labels to access directly.
Delivering to NetEase Cloud Music
China Rights Declarations
Territory-specific rights and licensing metadata are prepared to the form NetEase requires, which is the usual blocker on reaching mainland China.
Simplified Chinese Metadata
Titles and artist names are delivered in Simplified Chinese alongside Latin script so the catalogue is searchable natively.
Playlist and Comment Discovery
Releases land in the platform's user-driven playlist and comment ecosystem, where independent records routinely find an audience without editorial support.
Content Review Readiness
Deliveries are formatted to clear the platform's content review process rather than stalling in it, so release dates hold.
