Online Metronome
About the Online Metronome
Audicient's Online Metronome runs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API for sample-accurate timing. Set any tempo from 20 to 300 BPM, choose your time signature from 1 to 8 beats per bar, and get a precise click track with a visual pendulum and beat dots.
The first beat of every bar is accented with a higher-pitched click so you always know where the downbeat is. Use the tempo reference grid to jump straight to classical markings like Andante, Allegro, or Presto.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the timing?
The metronome uses the Web Audio API's built-in scheduler which runs ahead of the main thread, giving sample-accurate timing independent of JavaScript frame rate.
Can I change the time signature?
Yes — use the < > buttons to set 1 to 8 beats per bar. Beat 1 is always accented.
